Assessments are a valuable way to understand both individual team members and the team as a whole. Depending upon your desired outcomes, you may want to complete The Leadership Circle Profile, the Stellar Team Diagnostic or the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to learn more about how you work together and steps you can take to improve team performance.
The Leadership Circle Profile
The Leadership Circle Profile is a 360-degree assessment that measures both creative leadership competencies and more reactive tendencies and integrates this information so that the key opportunities for development immediately rise to the surface. Most importantly, TLCP is unique in that it reveals a leader's internal assumptions (beliefs) that run behavior in both domains. This allows the manager to see how his/her inner world of thought is translating into a productive or unproductive style of leadership.
Ultimately TLCP increases the inner awareness that affects outward behavior. TLCP's focus and accessibility never overwhelms managers with unrelated data. Using TLCP, managers can see the whole picture at a glance. TLCP also displays the critical relationships between strengths and weaknesses, creative competencies and reactive tendencies, and the interaction between inner assumptions and outer behavior.
Stellar Team Diagnostic
The team assessment, which was developed by Team Diagnostic International, incorporates recognized work in Emotional Intelligence and team research from leading universities. Each team member completes a confidential on-line questionnaire to self-assess the team on a number of success factors that measure both productivity and positivity. A unique model specific to team effectiveness, Stellar Team Diagnostic measures 14 individual success factors including direct communication, trust, alignment, and innovation. This assessments reveals how the team views itself and gives us the information we need to be begin working with a team to maximize performance while increasing positivity.
Myers Briggs Type Indicator
The Myers Briggs assessment is another effective way to maximize team effectiveness by increasing understanding and improving communication on your team. Each team member completes the MBTI assessment and then the team comes together to learn more about the different psychological types and strategies for working together based on the make-up of your team.
