Ideal client

We work best with high performing professionals who are committed to excellence and want to continue to expand their capacity to get positive results.  Our coaching clients want to have a positive impact in the lives of others.  They are internally motivated and interested in creating the best for themselves both personally and professionally.  Often our work together leads them to slow down and make wiser choices about the best uses of their talents, time and energy.  This allows them to consistently get the best result for themselves, their teams and their organizations.  Here are some examples of people who have achieved more through executive coaching.

Success stories

Often prospective clients ask to interview current clients.  Here’s one interview to give you more information about what can be achieved.  Meet David, a national sales manager in college publishing.

What were you hoping to achieve through coaching?

I was looking for a sounding board, a resource, and someone to give me a fresh perspective. More than that, I hoped to get candid and specific feedback and direction and ideas that could turn into tangible milestones and progress.

What have been the tangible outcomes of coaching?

I have become more attuned to my own strengths, weaknesses, and understand better why I gravitate toward certain things and away from others.  One of the biggest benefits of the work has been reinforcing the things that are strengths and a growing confidence because of that reinforcement. One can imagine that coaching is all about improving weaknesses and focusing on things that need improvement. The reality is that more time is spent understanding and reinforcing what you do well and looking for ways to leverage your talents.

What impact has coaching had on your leadership?

My organization, like most large companies, is a complex work environment. I have become more skilled at communicating effectively and navigating conflicting agendas with people whose communication or leadership styles are different from mine.  This has allowed me to have more influence with colleagues.

What else have you gained?

I’ve got more explicit goals with more accountability.  I feel like I’m moving toward what I want in my work and life.

Describe your experience of working with Nina.

She does a great job of helping me leverage my strengths and natural talents especially when I am focused on my weaknesses.

I like the nuances of Nina’s coaching.  I get personalized strategies that work well for me.  This was influential in my deciding to have her to work with some of my first reports. I knew she would she would coach them in the most effective way for each of them rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

How would you describe your experience to someone who was thinking about hiring Nina?

Nina is direct and willing to challenge ideas and habits, and she does it in a very safe, constructive and warm way.  It’s a terrific mix.  She’s smart, has great experience and focuses on tangible outcomes and measurable improvement.
